On-Site Training
When you need individualized, hands-on training using your equipment and your data, we will come to your house and deliver exactly what you need. Training will be most effective when the following conditions are met:
Facility
- A quiet isolated area works best.
- Sufficient equipment should be available to allow easy viewing by all involved.
- Training aids such as a whiteboard, LCD projector, and screen are very helpful.
- Advise employees not being trained that interruptions should be avoided if possible.
Scheduling
- Trainees should be isolated from the normal day's business.
- Schedule smaller groups of personnel that will be responsible for the targeted training.
- At a minimum, you should try to schedule two people for every training session.
Preparation
- Have samples of reports, invoices, check formats, etc. available for review.
- Have key "decision makers" available to quickly answer the setup and procedural questions as they present themselves.
- Experiment with your new equipment and software prior to our arrival. This experimentation will generate the questions you need answered to properly configure and use Canopy to meet your business needs. Send as many of those questions to your Project Manager prior to the scheduled training so that the answers can be thoroughly researched in advance.
