Training

Proper training is a key element to the successful implementation of a computer system.  For this reason, Aspen provides a variety of training options that coincide with the various stages of installation.  Experience has shown that initial training is most effective when it is conducted at Aspen’s headquarters in Phoenix.  The hands on, state of the art classroom provides an ideal setting for this. Aspen’s training philosophy is to focus on "training the trainer". Aspen generally trains one or two key personnel, who then become responsible for training other employees in the company. This economic methodology allows for efficiency, focus, and a personalized agenda. More importantly, benefits are reaped from being independent and self-sufficient.

Training, like most other projects requires careful planning.  Developing a syllabus that outlines the training agenda is a critical element of successful training.   To assist in the syllabus development, Aspen solicits customer input regarding specific areas that need to be targeted. This helps to determine who needs to attend the training session and the amount of time that will be required. 

Once a system is successfully installed, training continues to be an important element in optimizing a system’s capabilities.   Aspen provides web-based training that can be targeted toward a specific subject.  Additionally, on-site training at the customer’s facility is available when warranted.  Further training at Aspen’s headquarters is also available when required.  Aspen tailors its training to accommodate the individualized needs of each customer.
